U.K. Band

Subtle Machines are a jazzy funky band based in South West U.K. They formed in 2021. You might spot the deep-rooted influence of funk and jazz - more specifically soul jazz, spiritual jazz, boogaloo, New Orleans funk, jazz dance, jazz rock and psychedelia - and more!
The sound is vintage-inspired, taking us all right back to days of valves and vinyl!
They play a number of original tunes written by members of the band. And you might hear classic yet relatively unknown tracks by artists like Boogaloo Joe Jones, Rusty Bryant, The Meters, Gene Ammons, Charles Kynard; or others by jazz greats such as Charles Lloyd, John Scofield or John Coltrane -
